WELCOME TO
We have been finding electrical faults for 25 years and we bring that to every callout in Wadhurst. Lines are open 24/7, and 85% of emergencies are resolved on the first visit.
Electrical emergencies in Wadhurst rarely arrive at a convenient time, which is why we run a 24 hour electrician service. Calls are answered by someone who can send an engineer, not by an answering service.
On site we test rather than guess. Common work here includes RCD tripping, socket repairs and lighting faults, and anything involving heat or scorching is treated as urgent under burning smells and dangerous electrics.
Every job leaves with the circuit tested and the result recorded, and certification is issued to suit the work carried out.
We will fault find and resolve the issue if it can be resolved on the spot. With 25 years experience in fault finding we believe there isn't an issue which we can't solve. Some issues may need a revisit due to the deterioration of the cabling, and where that happens we will always explain your options clearly before any further work begins.

FAQ'S
All of our services are backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee and delivered by our qualified electricians.
No. There is no call-out charge and our rates are the same evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The price is agreed with you before any work starts.
Yes. If you have a specific problem we test that circuit and report on it. A full EICR safety certificates is a separate, more thorough piece of work and we will tell you if it is the better option.
Often it is. Homes without gas run heaters and immersions on an off-peak circuit, and when a timeswitch, contactor or the off-peak supply fails the heaters look broken when they are not. Worth testing the circuit before replacing anything.
No. Where we have had to lift a board, cut a chase or open a ceiling, we make good as far as the electrical work allows and clear up before we leave.
Yes. If the supply into the property is sound then the fault is inside the installation, and that is exactly what electrical fault finding is for. We establish which side of the cut-out the problem sits on.
Wadhurst is a small Wealden town with a station and much period property. Homes off the gas network running electric heating and immersion circuits is the background to a good deal of the work we do here, and a fault in an oast or barn conversion that drops the main house too is often the first sign that something needs attention.
Property in Wadhurst tends to include converted oast houses and barns and post-war infill around the older core, and each generation of wiring fails in its own way. Older installations may have no protective conductor at the lighting points; later ones can put everything behind a single RCD.
Every callout starts with a visual inspection and circuit testing, and 85% are resolved on the first visit.

WADHURST
Wadhurst is a small Wealden town with a station and much period property. What that means underneath the plaster is a set of installations from very different decades. Homes off the gas network running electric heating and immersion circuits is the factor that shapes most of the emergency work we are called out for.
The housing runs to converted oast houses and barns, post-war infill around the older core and farmhouses with generations of additions, and each was wired to the standards of its day. Additions made since, from extensions to garden supplies, are often where the weak point turns out to be.
Empty periods do their own damage. Property that stands unused, whether between lets or over a winter, tends to hide small faults until everything is switched on at once.
Most of it arrives as a fault in an oast or barn conversion that drops the main house too. Once the circuits are tested the cause is usually obvious, and usually fixable there and then.
Landlords have a further duty: in England a rented home needs an EICR at least every five years and before a new tenancy. All work is tested to BS 7671.
For anything that is not an emergency, we book planned work around you, including inspections, board changes and remedial work following a report.
We also cover Ticehurst, Mayfield and Crowborough.
