WELCOME TO
Our team covers East Wittering and the neighbouring West Sussex villages 24 hours a day. Pricing is agreed before work starts and everything we do is certified to current standards.
Most callouts here begin with power that drops out only when it rains. Rather than swapping parts and hoping, we test circuit by circuit until the cause is isolated, then explain what we have found before doing the work.
Typical jobs across East Wittering run from power loss and tripping and RCD tripping through to fuse box repairs, and where a board is beyond economic repair we can quote for consumer unit replacement.
Anything involving heat, scorching or a smell of burning is treated as an emergency and made safe on arrival, whatever time it is.
We will fault find and resolve the issue if it can be resolved on the spot. With 25 years experience in fault finding we believe there isn't an issue which we can't solve. Some issues may need a revisit due to the deterioration of the cabling, and where that happens we will always explain your options clearly before any further work begins.

FAQ'S
All of our services are backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee and delivered by our qualified electricians.
All of it, along with West Wittering, Selsey and Chichester and the rest of West Sussex. Lines are open 24/7 on 0333 360 8583.
Yes, across West Sussex, including out-of-hours tenant callouts. In England a rented home needs EICR safety certificates at least every five years and before a new tenancy.
Yes. If you have a specific problem we test that circuit and report on it. A full EICR safety certificates is a separate, more thorough piece of work and we will tell you if it is the better option.
Often it is. Homes without gas run heaters and immersions on an off-peak circuit, and when a timeswitch, contactor or the off-peak supply fails the heaters look broken when they are not. Worth testing the circuit before replacing anything.
No. Where we have had to lift a board, cut a chase or open a ceiling, we make good as far as the electrical work allows and clear up before we leave.
Two things drive the callouts we get from East Wittering. The first is properties left empty between lets, so small faults go unreported for months. The second is simply time: cable, accessories and boards all have a service life, and a great deal of what is still in use is past it.
Together they produce power that drops out only when it rains. It is rarely mysterious once the circuits are tested.
We make safe, test, explain and repair, in that order, at any hour of the day or night.
…and if we can resolve and fix or (identify the issue if the circuit needs rewiring). The cost ends there.
We have structured our pricing in 4 easy categories, so the customer and ourselves understand the costs involved.

EAST WITTERING
East Wittering is a beach village of bungalows, chalets and holiday homes, and that shapes the electrical work here more than anything else. Properties left empty between lets, so small faults go unreported for months is the factor that shapes most of the emergency work we are called out for.
The housing runs to holiday lets and second homes left empty for long spells, older cottages added to piecemeal over the years and static and park homes, and each was wired to the standards of its day. Additions made since, from extensions to garden supplies, are often where the weak point turns out to be.
Ownership complicates things too. Where a house has been split into flats, or an outbuilding brought into use, circuits get shared in ways nobody records, and a fault in one part can take out another.
The result is predictable enough: power that drops out only when it rains. Testing turns that from a guess into a known circuit and a known cause.
Landlords have a further duty: in England a rented home needs an EICR at least every five years and before a new tenancy. All work is tested to BS 7671.
Where a fault turns out to be part of a bigger problem, we will say so, price the options and let you decide. Nothing gets replaced that does not need replacing.
We also cover West Wittering, Selsey and Chichester.
