WELCOME TO
We have been finding electrical faults for 25 years and we bring that to every callout in Buxted. Lines are open 24/7, and 85% of emergencies are resolved on the first visit.
Callouts across Buxted are answered 24 hours a day. Our vans carry the parts for the faults we see most often here, so a repair does not usually mean a second appointment.
Work ranges from emergency electrical repairs in the middle of the night to planned jobs such as consumer unit replacement. Everything is tested to BS 7671 and certified to suit the work carried out.
Every job leaves with the circuit tested and the result recorded, and certification is issued to suit the work carried out.
We will fault find and resolve the issue if it can be resolved on the spot. With 25 years experience in fault finding we believe there isn't an issue which we can't solve. Some issues may need a revisit due to the deterioration of the cabling, and where that happens we will always explain your options clearly before any further work begins.

FAQ'S
All of our services are backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee and delivered by our qualified electricians.
No. There is no call-out charge and our rates are the same evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The price is agreed with you before any work starts.
Treat it as urgent if there is any heat, discolouration or smell at the board or an accessory. Otherwise it normally means one circuit has failed, and we can trace it with electrical fault finding.
For an emergency, someone needs to let us in and show us what happened. After that you are welcome to leave us to it. We will walk you through what we found before we go.
Yes. Part P registered and City & Guilds qualified, insured to £2,000,000, with all work carried out and tested to BS 7671.
It means the fault is still present. Forcing a device back on is not safe. Leave it off, keep that circuit isolated and call us, and see power loss and tripping.
Converted oast houses and barns and farmhouses with generations of additions make up much of the housing here, and both bring their own problems. Homes off the gas network running electric heating and immersion circuits adds to it.
In practice that means a fault in an oast or barn conversion that drops the main house too, dead sockets, or lighting that fails on one floor. Our engineers carry the instruments to trace it and the parts to repair most of it the same day.
Every callout includes a visual inspection, testing of the circuit and a clear explanation of the cause.
…and if we can resolve and fix or (identify the issue if the circuit needs rewiring). The cost ends there.
We have structured our pricing in 4 easy categories, so the customer and ourselves understand the costs involved.

BUXTED
Buxted has its own station and a good deal of surrounding parkland, and that shapes the electrical work here more than anything else. Homes off the gas network running electric heating and immersion circuits is the factor that shapes most of the emergency work we are called out for.
The housing runs to converted oast houses and barns, post-war infill around the older core and farmhouses with generations of additions, and each was wired to the standards of its day. Additions made since, from extensions to garden supplies, are often where the weak point turns out to be.
Empty periods do their own damage. Property that stands unused, whether between lets or over a winter, tends to hide small faults until everything is switched on at once.
The result is predictable enough: a fault in an oast or barn conversion that drops the main house too. Testing turns that from a guess into a known circuit and a known cause.
Landlords have a further duty: in England a rented home needs an EICR at least every five years and before a new tenancy. All work is tested to BS 7671.
For anything that is not an emergency, we book planned work around you, including inspections, board changes and remedial work following a report.
We also cover Uckfield, Crowborough and Framfield.
