WELCOME TO
Our team covers Ashington and the neighbouring West Sussex villages 24 hours a day. Pricing is agreed before work starts and everything we do is certified to current standards.
Callouts across Ashington are answered 24 hours a day. Our vans carry the parts for the faults we see most often here, so a repair does not usually mean a second appointment.
Work ranges from emergency electrical repairs in the middle of the night to planned jobs such as consumer unit replacement. Everything is tested to BS 7671 and certified to suit the work carried out.
Anything involving heat, scorching or a smell of burning is treated as an emergency and made safe on arrival, whatever time it is.
We will fault find and resolve the issue if it can be resolved on the spot. With 25 years experience in fault finding we believe there isn't an issue which we can't solve. Some issues may need a revisit due to the deterioration of the cabling, and where that happens we will always explain your options clearly before any further work begins.

FAQ'S
All of our services are backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee and delivered by our qualified electricians.
All of it, along with Storrington, Washington and Southwater and the rest of West Sussex. Lines are open 24/7 on 0333 360 8583.
We work on the fixed installation rather than appliances, but part of the job is proving which of the two has failed, so you are not buying a new cooker to fix a circuit fault.
Yes. Flickering usually means a loose connection somewhere, and loose connections generate heat. It is much cheaper to find it early than after it has burnt an accessory out. See lighting faults.
Treat it as urgent if there is any heat, discolouration or smell at the board or an accessory. Otherwise it normally means one circuit has failed, and we can trace it with electrical fault finding.
For an emergency, someone needs to let us in and show us what happened. After that you are welcome to leave us to it. We will walk you through what we found before we go.
Post-war infill around the older core and modern barn-style new builds make up much of the housing here, and both bring their own problems. Old fabric where cable has been threaded through timber frame and lath over many decades adds to it.
In practice that means an immersion circuit that trips as soon as it is called on, dead sockets, or lighting that fails on one floor. Our engineers carry the instruments to trace it and the parts to repair most of it the same day.
Every callout includes a visual inspection, testing of the circuit and a clear explanation of the cause.
…and if we can resolve and fix or (identify the issue if the circuit needs rewiring). The cost ends there.
We have structured our pricing in 4 easy categories, so the customer and ourselves understand the costs involved.

ASHINGTON
Ashington is a village on the main road south of Horsham, and that shapes the electrical work here more than anything else. Old fabric where cable has been threaded through timber frame and lath over many decades is the factor that shapes most of the emergency work we are called out for.
The housing runs to post-war infill around the older core, farmhouses with generations of additions and modern barn-style new builds, and each was wired to the standards of its day. Additions made since, from extensions to garden supplies, are often where the weak point turns out to be.
Ownership complicates things too. Where a house has been split into flats, or an outbuilding brought into use, circuits get shared in ways nobody records, and a fault in one part can take out another.
The result is predictable enough: an immersion circuit that trips as soon as it is called on. Testing turns that from a guess into a known circuit and a known cause.
Landlords have a further duty: in England a rented home needs an EICR at least every five years and before a new tenancy. All work is tested to BS 7671.
Where a fault turns out to be part of a bigger problem, we will say so, price the options and let you decide. Nothing gets replaced that does not need replacing.
We also cover Storrington, Washington and Southwater.
