An emergency electrical firm, based in Bexhill

Power Pros is an emergency electrical company working across Bexhill-on-Sea, Hastings, Eastbourne and the whole of East Sussex. The phone is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by people who can tell you how urgent your problem is before anyone sets off.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO

Fault finding first, repairs second

Most emergency electrical work is diagnosis wearing overalls. A tripping breaker, a dead circuit or a burning smell is a symptom, and swapping the part it points at is how a real fault gets left in the wall behind a shiny new device. With 25 years of fault finding behind us, our first job on any callout is to measure what is happening rather than guess at it.

We test before we fit

Every callout includes a visual inspection and circuit testing. Insulation resistance, continuity, polarity, loop impedance and RCD operation are measured, not assumed.

We make safe first

Where a fault cannot be fully repaired on the visit, the danger is removed and the property is left safe and usable, with the options explained before anything else is agreed.

We price before we travel

Callout charges are fixed by time of day and confirmed on the phone. Any additional work is quoted and agreed with you before it starts.

We certify what we do

Work is tested to BS 7671 and, where notifiable, carried out under our NICEIC Part P registration and certified accordingly.

We triage on the phoneIf it is dangerous we tell you what to switch off. If your neighbours are dark too, we point you at the network operator on 105 rather than charging you for a fault that is not yours.
We confirm the chargeYou are told which callout band applies before anyone sets off, so the price is never a surprise on the doorstep.
We attend and diagnoseVisual inspection first, then testing to find the actual cause rather than the most obvious symptom.
We explain and repairYou hear what we found and what the options are. 85% of emergency callouts are resolved on the first visit.
We test and certifyThe repaired circuit is retested before it goes back into service, and the appropriate certificate is issued.
