We are emergency electricians. Not a call centre that passes your job on, and not a general builder who also does sockets — a team whose whole trade is finding electrical faults and putting them right, at any hour.
WHO WE ARE
Power Pros is an emergency electrical company working across Bexhill-on-Sea, Hastings, Eastbourne and the whole of East Sussex. The phone is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by people who can tell you how urgent your problem is before anyone sets off.
Our engineers are City & Guilds qualified and we are members of the NICEIC Part P scheme, so the work we do is inspected, tested and certified to BS 7671 rather than simply finished and forgotten. We carry insurance to £2,000,000, and every job is backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO
Most emergency electrical work is diagnosis wearing overalls. A tripping breaker, a dead circuit or a burning smell is a symptom, and swapping the part it points at is how a real fault gets left in the wall behind a shiny new device. With 25 years of fault finding behind us, our first job on any callout is to measure what is happening rather than guess at it.
Every callout includes a visual inspection and circuit testing. Insulation resistance, continuity, polarity, loop impedance and RCD operation are measured, not assumed.
Where a fault cannot be fully repaired on the visit, the danger is removed and the property is left safe and usable, with the options explained before anything else is agreed.
Callout charges are fixed by time of day and confirmed on the phone. Any additional work is quoted and agreed with you before it starts.
Work is tested to BS 7671 and, where notifiable, carried out under our NICEIC Part P registration and certified accordingly.
