We are called out to Little Common for everything from a single blown circuit to a full loss of supply. The installation is made safe first, then tested, then repaired.
Most callouts here begin with a single fault taking out lights and sockets together. Rather than swapping parts and hoping, we test circuit by circuit until the cause is isolated, then explain what we have found before doing the work.
Typical jobs across Little Common run from power loss and tripping and RCD tripping through to fuse box repairs, and where a board is beyond economic repair we can quote for consumer unit replacement.
Prices are agreed before work starts, there is no call-out charge, and the rate is the same at night and at weekends.

We make safe, test, explain and repair, in that order, at any hour of the day or night.

Basic call out 9.30am – 3pm which would not be within an hour would be £110
*When there will be any rewiring, we will specify works and extra costs before any extra work would commence.
Also rates are multiplied by 1.5 for any weekend works

LITTLE COMMON
Little Common is bungalow country on the western edge of Bexhill, and that shapes the electrical work here more than anything else. Electric heating and immersion circuits in all-electric flats and bungalows is the factor that shapes most of the emergency work we are called out for.
The housing runs to chalet bungalows with rooms in the roof, sheltered and retirement schemes and inter-war semis and bungalows, and each was wired to the standards of its day. Additions made since, from extensions to garden supplies, are often where the weak point turns out to be.
Age is only half of it. The other half is load: kitchens, showers and heating that draw far more than the original design allowed for, on circuits that were never uprated to match.
The result is predictable enough: a single fault taking out lights and sockets together. Testing turns that from a guess into a known circuit and a known cause.
